Extended Maintenance Services

Nothing is more important to the continued success of a wind musician than regular instrument maintenance so their instrument is in optimal playing condition. This is why BandSource offers Extended Maintenance Services on all of the instruments purchased from our company by individual musicians.

Woodwind instruments need regulation and adjustments performed on key mechanisms to maintain proper pad position over tone holes. Corks and felts on woodwind instruments will need to be replaced from time to time. Brasswind instruments require a yearly thorough cleaning and lubrication. Rotors will need to be re-strung on french horns & F-Attachment trombones. Water key corks, piston felts and rubber gaskets on slide stops will eventually need to be replaced. Not to mention, possibly, an unforeseen, unfortunate accident in which your instrument could require extensive repair work.

BandSource’s Extended Maintenance Services program provides peace of mind for musicians. Whether it is an accident or a combination of small maintenance needs, they must be addressed on a consistent basis to insure that the instrument, your investment, retains its playability and value for many years too come.

We are proud to provide our clients the ultimate in convenience and service. We may be able to perform minor adjustments and repairs on your horn while you wait. This way you won’t lose a day of practice on your instrument, or be forced to use a student loaner instrument for a week or longer.
