The Schilke 11AX Piccolo Trumpet mouthpiece was developed for the Schilke piccolo trumpets. The "x" backbore improves the ease of playing and opens up the sound on the piccolo. This mouthpiece has a trumpet shank, which is larger in diameter than the cornet shank.
